Our Board Members are all volunteers. They are the leaders of the Foundation. They actively share their expertise and represent the Foundation to their connections and in the community. They are stewards for the Foundation. The Board has two primary focuses: Governance and Development. Governance involves affirming and adhering to the Foundation’s vision and determining a strategy that helps ensure the organization’s financial health and long-term sustainability and growth. Development responsibilities include more than a proscribed amount of money and time to the organization. Development involves identifying and cultivating potential donors, sponsors, and other Board Members.

But cancer survivor, Sandra Wing has introduced a different vocabulary for cancer patients: acupuncture, acupressure, meditation, guided imagery, and therapeutic massage. In 2008, she created the Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation to help remove some of the financial burden so that a cancer patient can experience healing therapy comfort throughout his/her treatment.

Sandra is a proud US Army Veteran and has a BS and MBA degree in business management. She is also certified as a Project Management Professional and has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
