Ragin Cajun Mardi Gras Cancer Fundraiser Event – A Complete Success!
Pleasanton, CA – March 9, 2011: Ragin Cajun is the San Francisco East Bay’s Mardi Gras event of the year! Featuring music, dancing, dinner, beads, live auctions, and more, this year’s event was held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, CA. Ragin Cajun is the annual fundraiser event for the Sandra J Wing Healing Therapies Foundation.
The Ragin Cajun event was a resounding success surpassing our goal by raising more than $45,000 towards healing therapy grants that will be given to our neighbors residing in Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon, and Danville that are cancer patients currently under going chemo or radiation therapy.
This year’s event would not have been the amazing success it was without the continued support of our generous sponsors and volunteers. Our volunteers have been planning and working on this event for the past year and we are truly grateful for their time, love, and true spirit of commitment to our cause and purpose.
